  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Optional: Lemon wedges for serving

  • Prepare the Chicken: Lightly pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness. This ensures even cooking and prevents dryness.
  • Set Up Your Breading Station: Create three shallow dishes. In the first, place the flour seasoned with salt and pepper. In the second, place the beaten eggs. In the third, combine the Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  • Bread the Chicken: Dredge each chicken breast in the flour, then dip in the egg, ensuring it's fully coated. Finally, press the chicken firmly into the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture, making sure it adheres completely.
  • Cook the Chicken: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Carefully place the breaded chicken breasts in the skillet, ensuring not to overcrowd. Cook for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
